Synopsis
This prose was written by Bill Naughton was an Irish born British play wright and author
The narrator was working at a shipyard,carrying shipments to docks. The narrator loved oranges so much. he is not a thief , but he took something like bananas and oranges from dock. one day the police man caught him and locked in the room with oranges. The narrator eats all seventeen oranges, including peels and pips, while the policeman went out to fetch another police officer to be a witness.
Now there was no evidence.so he escaped from the jail sentenced. But he could not escape from the stomach upset. There after he never eats another orange in his life
